Apple's first foldable iPhone, called the iPhone Duo, goes on sale on Friday, October 23, 2026, in more than 70 countries and regions, including the United States. Apple announced the phone on September 9, and pre-orders opened on October 16.
When open, the iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch screen. When closed, it has a 5.4-inch screen on the outside. Apple says the hinge is made of more than 100 parts and supports the middle of the screen so that it stays flat when the phone is open.
