Our principles

• Every story is confirmed by at least two sources, always named.
• No opinion and no partisanship: we report who said what.
• Images are official artwork from the company concerned or free-licence photos, always credited. Never another outlet's photos.
• Advertising is always labelled as advertising.
• Money news is information only, never financial advice.

Corrections policy

When we get something wrong, we correct the article and say so in a “Correction” box at the end: what we said, and what is true. Corrections are never removed. To report an error, write to us on any of our accounts below.

Privacy and cookies

Evenly asks for no account and no password. Our own counters (article reads, ad views and clicks) use no cookies and keep no IP address: each visit is reduced to an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day.

With your consent, Google Analytics measures the site's audience (pages viewed, country, device type) using cookies. Without your consent, no cookie is set and Google only receives signals with no cookie or identifier. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

Your theme (light or dark) and your cookie choice are kept in your browser only. If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is used only to send it to you.
